DES MOINES, IA (January 23, 2019) — The Iowa attorney general alleges that a Florida man associated with a telemarketing company has again run afoul of Iowa’s Consumer Fraud Act, seven years after being banned from soliciting Iowans.

Local volunteers with Animal Advocates QC are recognizing National Puppy Mill Awareness Month by hosting a free viewing of the documentary DOG BY DOG followed by discussion on the nation’s puppy mill issue.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 29 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Bettendorf Library, 2950 Learning Campus Drive. The discussion following the film will be led by Mindi Callison, founder and executive director of Bailing Out Benji, based in Ames, Iowa.
