(DES MOINES) – Monday, April 2, 2018 -  Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a bill on Monday that creates affordable health plan options for Iowans who can’t afford to buy health insurance.

Gilda’s Club Quad Cities CEO Sally Werner was promoted to Senior Vice President of Affiliate Relations at Cancer Support Community, of which Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is an affiliate.
Joy McMeekan, Gilda’s Club Development Director, was named Interim Executive Director in October 2017. After an extensive external and internal candidate search, the Board of Directors named McMeekan CEO of Gilda’s Club Quad Cities effective February 19, 2018.

Health officials say some of the products have been mixed with rat poison. The chemical poisons the blood and causes people to bleed out if they are not treated in time.

Governor Bruce Rauner announced today that five ISP District headquarters across the state will house receptacles for people to drop off their unused and unwanted prescription medications.
