An additional arrest has been made in reference to the shooting of 43 year old Gabriel Almanza of Davenport which took place on July 28, 2014 in the 20,000 block of 210th Street in rural Scott County.
Today, at approximately 3:15 p.m. Scott County Sheriff's Office Detectives along with Officers of the Davenport Police Department took into custody the additional suspect after a foot pursuit in the 6400 block of N Harrison Street on an arrest warrant. The suspect has been identified as follows:
Terrace Tyrone Perkins, age 38, a resident of Davenport.
Perkins was charged with the following related to the shooting:
Robbery 1st Degree, a Class B Felony with a cash bond of $300,000.00.
At the time of today's arrest, Perkin's was found to be in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Therefore, Perkins was charged with the following additional charges:
Possession of a controlled substance suspected of being marijuana, a serious misdemeanor with a bond of $1,000.00
Possession of a controlled substance suspected of being crack cocaine, a serious misdemeanor with a bond of $ 1,000.00
Possession of drug paraphernalia, being two glass narcotic pipes, a simple misdemeanor with a bond of $300.00.

Today's additional arrest of Perkins concludes the investigation. No further arrests are expected to be made.
