We have a big St. Pat's weekend ahead! Plan to bring the whole family to the St. Patrick's Society Grand Parade on Saturday! The bi-state parade begins at 11:30 a.m. in Rock Island and crosses the Mississippi to downtown Davenport on 3rd Street. From the Post Parade Bash to Irish food and drink specials throughout our downtown bars and restaurants, Saturday is sure to be fun.
Before you gear up from the parade, get in some exercise in during the
CASI 31st Annual St. Patrick's Day Race on Saturday morning! This 5K family-friendly event just keeps getting more popular every year, and there's still time to register. All races begin at the corner of Main & 2nd Streets and get there early for a new QC Cross Fit event on the plaza and the 5 person relay. After playing in the Grammy Award-winning band Nickel Creek and a recent visit to the Adler during Jackson Browne's tour, Sara Watkins returns to downtown Davenport to perform at River Music Experience! RME will also host the Barley House Band on Saturday as well as more programming this week including Heatbox, Third Sunday Jazz w/ Tony Sconyers Quintet, Four Shillings Short, Open Mic Night, and more.
Join the Brewers of Great River Brewery for their pot luck event celebrating the tapping of their new Arsenal Amber Ale! Bring a delicious dish to pass while you try this new extreme brew. The "Golden Keg" kicks off at 1 p.m. and food will be served starting at 2 p.m.
