MOLINE, IL – February 8, 2016 – In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, movie fans can click online and see dozens of rankings of all-time favorite romantic movies and romantic comedies. At the same time, those movies fans with digital cable can click their remotes and watch dozens of the “best-ever” romantic movies – classics and new – from a special Valentine’s Day movie collection available at Mediacom On Demand.
Romantic comedies have a long history of doing well at the box office, and consumers today expect to see those movies again and again. (Who hasn’t said, “I’ll have what she’s having”) Mediacom’s expanded selection of romance-genre movies is available to watch now through March 1, with most available in high-definition (HD).
The On Demand Valentine’s selection includes film adaptations based on Nicholas Sparks’ novels, classic love stories such as “West Side Story” and “Casablanca,” and a long list of contemporary romantic comedies. To provide parents with a selection of kid’s movies, the movie collection also includes a category for ‘Kids Valentines Movies.’
On Demand is automatically available to digital cable subscribers and the channel selection offers a wide range of movie choices to watch any time. To select movies from the collection of romantic movie and rom-com titles, viewers start at channel 1 (On Demand) and choose from the main menu Valentine’s Day movies and Kids Valentine’s Day movies.
