To celebrate its 30th year of service to the greater Quad Cities regional area, The Project of the Quad Cities is hosting the 23rd Annual Red Ribbon Dinner: Faces of HIV at 4:30PM on Saturday, March 5th at the Radisson in Davenport.
This formal event will feature a silent and live auction, 50/50 raffle, music and entertainment. The proceeds benefit The Project of the Quad Cities’ client fund, which provides housing, utility and medical assistance to clients in need.
The theme for this year’s Red Ribbon Dinner is the Faces of HIV. “We think it is important to highlight how the faces of HIV have changed over the last thirty years. HIV used to be a death sentence and now, people can live long healthy lives. You can’t just look a person and say “That person has HIV.” said Wendy Kelly, the Executive Director of TPQC.
Tickets can be purchased for $70 per person by calling Janee at 309.762.5433 or via PayPal by visiting www.tpqc.org.
Sponsors for Red Ribbon Dinner include: Triumph Community Bank, Robert Young Center and Trinity-UnityPoint Health, Genesis Health System and Tamara Wendt Design.About The Project Of The Quad Cities
