Davenport, IA –The Center for Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI) is seeking to become only the second Senior Center in the State of Iowa to secure national accreditation through the National Council on Aging (NCOA). This year long application process was a community-wide initiative involving partners from throughout the senior services industry. Helping to secure accreditation, CASI formed a steering committee representing the Quad Cities Community which included representatives from:

For over 40 years, CASI has served as Eastern Iowa’s only comprehensive Senior Center. National accreditation serves as CASI’s commitment to area seniors and the Quad Cities community that the agency is dedicated to best practice and adheres to highest standards of excellence. The final step in the accreditation process will be a site visit from NCOA in spring 2016.
