Groundbreaking Ceremony Scheduled for Monday, February 29th at 11:00 a.m.

Silvis, IL – The City of Silvis and the Silvis Police Department will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Silvis Police Department on Monday, February 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the project site located at 600 Illini Drive, Silvis, IL 61282. Press is invited to attend.

The new 10,443 s.f. Silvis Police Department will house seven offices, high-security area with evidence and interview rooms, dispatch room, storage area, exercise room, six car garage, patio area and a community room with seating for 30 people. Construction on the new $2.5 million dollar state-of-the-art facility will be completed by the end of 2016.
