Volunteers from the Scott County Extension Master Gardener program will be available to answer questions on several days of the Big Brother Big Sister Plant Sale to be held at the Northwest Bank parking lot near Northpark Mall, April 29 – May 7, 2016 They will assist customers with selecting plants, provide gardening information and answer questions that the public might have about the care of plants. They will also demonstrate potting techniques.
The volunteers will be present at the sale on April 29 and 30 and also May 1 and 7. The partnership combines the work of two non-profit organizations to beautify communities and educate people about their plants.
