With no regular coverage of Rocks games on any radio station this year, QCSportsNet.com will be there to respond to the Rocky community's outpouring of support for live games throughout the season.
Lead announcer Ken Jacoby begins his third consecutive season calling Rocky games, starting with the September 18 Homecoming contest against the Quincy Blue Devils. He and his team of broadcasters and producers will bring you all the action throughout the regular season and any possible playoff contests.
"The athletic department at Rocky has been fielding calls from followers of the football team, wondering where the games are this year," said Jacoby. Live play-by-play coverage of Rock Island Rocks football is presented by Chris Elsberg State Farm Insurance. In addition, Crawford Company is the title sponsor of all pre-game shows; American Family Insurance - Michael Orth Agency is the title sponsor of all halftime shows, and Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Homes is the title sponsor of all post-game shows.
