(Saint Louis – May 10, 2016) Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf, located in downtown Bettendorf just off the I-74 bridge, will open its new $60 million land-based gaming and entertainment facility, on Friday, June 24, announced Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc.

“Our fully integrated land-based facility will provide our gaming, convention and leisure guests with an outstanding upgrade to their experience including a state-of-the art casino floor with approximately 1,000 machines and 20 tables, three new restaurants, a consolidated single hotel check-in and grand new entrance and valet drop-off all centrally located between our two hotel towers,” said Eric Hausler, Isle’s chief executive officer.

“We are excited about our big little move of just 223 feet from the riverboat to the land-based facility,” said Arnold Block, Isle's president and chief operating officer. “The talented team we have at Isle Bettendorf includes a dozen employees who began their careers in gaming 25 years ago with the inaugural launch of riverboat gaming. We are thrilled they can share this important milestone with us.

“We thank the construction workers and tradespeople for their hard work and dedication in bringing this project to fruition. We also appreciate the support of the City of Bettendorf and our non-profit partner, the Scott County Regional Authority.

“We plan to mark the grand opening with celebrations throughout the day on June 24 and throughout the first week culminating with a River to Rock concert featuring Wynonna and the Big Noise on July 1,” he continued.

The new 35,000 square foot facility will be open 24 hours per day with nearly 1,000 slot machines, and 20 table games, as well as three restaurant options including the Farmer’s Pick Buffet®, Keller’s® American Grill Restaurant and Keller’s Express. Other new amenities include the Lone Wolf® Bar, located directly on the gaming floor, as well as a new fitness center and VIP lounge.

With over 500 hotel rooms, including the recently renovated South Tower, and over 40,000 square feet of usable convention space, Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf hosts over 500 events each year including local charitable events like the Junior Board of Rock Island’s Mardi Gras Ball, and the Make-A-Wish gala. Recently, for just a few days, the property was home to over 300 Kentucky Fried Chicken franchisees, 150 coaches for the Iowa State Cyclones, and over 500 farmers for the Farmer’s Business Network. The property is also a proud convention partner to John Deere.
