(DES MOINES) - Gov. Branstad today appointed Larry McLellan judge to the 5C Judicial District. He also appointed Joel Barrows judge to the 7th Judicial District.
McLellan, of West Des Moines, received his law degree from Drake University and is currently working in private practice. McLellan was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Donna Paulsen.
Barrows, of Bettendorf, received his law degree from Drake University and is currently working in the United States Attorney's office for the Southern District of Iowa. Barrows was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David Sivright.
