The DAAC is looking for creative writers, upcoming and established (ages 14 and up), to contribute to Ruix Zine, a quarterly DIY publication devoted to area and regional literature, arts and music, with a focus on emerging talent.

Content: Includes, but is not limited to, reviews of exhibits, shows, and recordings; promotion of upcoming events; and essays and creative writing (short fiction, poetry)- 2000 word limit. Email your work to bobbuckojr@gmail.com

WHISPERS AND SHOUTS

An evening of storytelling and literature. This event will feature local emerging authors reading from their works, as well as community members taking to the podium to share autobiographical tales. Gallery will also feature art inspired by surrealism and story telling.
