Second Annual Scare Crow Trail will take place in the Villages of Middle, High, West, South and Homestead in the Amana Colonies, Iowa.  Beginning Thursday, October 1st until the end of the month, fourteen plus Scare Crows can be seen at businesses and shops.   Some are traditional, others are uniquely different.  Some may be outside and some will be inside with their portrait and message outside.

Pick up a "Scare Crow Trail Map" at the Amana Colonies Visitor's Center in Amana or at any one of the participating businesses in Middle, High, West, South and Homestead.

Travel the 220th trail around the Amana Colonies to find the scare crows, take photos and vote for your favorite "Character".    When you have located all of the Scare Crows, leave your map at your last business and you will be signed up for a door prize.
