The Project of the Quad Cities, one of 10 organizations in Illinois to receive the Get Covered Illinois Grant for In-Person Counselors will be hosting a forum regarding the impact of the Affordable Care Act on Thursday January 28th at 11:00AM. in order to highlight consumer success stories and a Get Covered Illinois update from Carol West, Get Covered Illinois’ Regional Outreach Coordinator.
The goal of the forum is to help to encourage the public to sign up for health insurance before the January 31st enrollment deadline, provide information on how and where to get covered, as well as spreading the word of the importance of health insurance coverage.
We ask that the representatives of the media interested in covering the forum should arrive no later than 10:30AM on January 28th at The Project of the Quad Cities Headquarters, located at 2316 5th Avenue Moline, IL. For more information, please call (309)762-5433.
