Traveling the country in support of his new comedy series Bad Thoughts that begins Netflix streaming on May 13, popular standup comedian, writer, author, actor, and podcaster Tom Segura brings his "Come Together Tour" to Moline's Vibrant Arena at the MARK on May 8, the artist currently hosting the Your Mom's House podcast with his wife and fellow comedian Christina Pazsitzky, as well as Two Bears One Cave alongside comedian Bert Kreischer.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1979, with his father the first vice-president of the Merrill Lynch corporation, Segura began stand-up comedy shortly after graduating from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. He went on to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Comedy Festival, the Global Comedy Festival in Vancouver, and Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, and was also a San Francisco regional finalist on Last Comic Standing 2. In July of 2022, Segura released his New York Times bestselling book I'd Like to Play Alone, Please to wide praise, with Forbes calling it “laugh-out-loud funny" and Paste raving that the comedian boasted "aa natural and capable storytelling ability, one that lifts his narratives out of average anecdote fare and plants them firmly in hilarious ground.” Your Mom’s House Studios is home to Segura's hit podcasts Your Mom’s House, Two Bears One Cave, and many additional podcasts that draw millions of listeners each week. Additionally, YMH Studios was one of the first networks to create wildly successful Livestream Podcast Events as an outcome of the pandemic. Outside of his busy touring schedule, Segura can be seen in the films Stx Film Countdown opposite Elizabeth Lail, Instant Family opposite Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne, Opening Act, and Flinch. Segura’s television credits, meanwhile, include appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, Workaholics, Happy Endings, The Late Late Show, Comedy Central Presents: Tom Segura, Mash Up, and How to Be a Grown Up.
