LEBANON, ILLINOIS (April 25, 2025) — Kyra Taylor of Davenport, Iowa, participated in McKendree University's twelfth annual Academic Excellence Celebration (AEC) on Thursday, April 24.

DECATUR, ILLINOIS (April 25, 2025) — On March 27, 2025, Decatur Trades and Labor Assembly announced the distribution of $12,000 to 21 recipients of the 2025 Michael E Shampine Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship was open to affiliate union members and their immediate family who plan to enroll in higher education, vocational trade schools, or apprentice programs.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 24, 2025) — At its April 23 meeting, the Bettendorf Board of Education approved a property tax levy rate of $12.40 per $1,000 of taxable valuation for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. This marks a decrease of 44 cents from the previous year’s rate of $12.84.
