MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 15, 2024) — The next Music at Butterworth concert is scheduled for October 28, 7PM, at Butterworth Center, Moline, with a performance by the internationally-known WÖR (pronounced “were”). Get set to expand your musical horizons.

“Back to the 1780s! If it sounded good back then, why not today?” That’s the mantra of WÖR, a band of five musicians whose curiosity, passion and talent breathe new life into a niche of 18th-century melodies from the Flanders region of Belgium.

With contemporary arrangements that celebrate historic musical lore, WÖR has attracted audiences across Europe, Australia, Canada, and the US, winning awards and fans for live performances and unique albums such as Back to the 1780s (2015), Sssht (2017), and About Towers (2021).

All Music at Butterworth free concerts take place in the grand Butterworth Center Library and are followed by complimentary refreshments in the historic dining room. Plenty of parking is located adjacent to Butterworth Center, 1105 8 Street, Moline.
