ATCHISON, KANSAS (May 31, 2022) — Stella Corgan of Colona, Illinois, has graduated from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, majoring in Special Education and Elementary Education.

The college graduated 314 students at the end of the academic year during ceremonies on May 14, 2022. The graduates heard from Bishop Robert Baron, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and founder of Word on Fire Ministries, who delivered an inspiring Commencement Address.

He spoke about humility and the importance of listening to God. He said it was important to hear a voice that transcends ego and pettiness and calls us to the "highest venture of the spiritual life."

Founded in 1858, Benedictine College is a Catholic, Benedictine, residential, liberal-arts college located on the bluffs above the Missouri River in Atchison, Kansas.
