ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 15, 2024) — ROZZ-TOX, a beloved independent space in Rock Island/Quad Cities, needs help to secure the building they have occupied and cared for over the past 13 years. The venue, owned by fundraiser organizer Benjamin Fawks, hosts performances, screenings, workshops and panel discussions. It is also a café and bar.

Per the GoFundMeThe money we raise here will go toward the deposit for the building. We have always been a month-to-month business, some months are really good, and some not so. That said, we just don't have enough capital for a deposit. We have always tried to keep prices low, and the space genuine and free from advertisements, investors, and bar/cafe/venue standards. Being a unique and independent space is part of what makes it special.
