[Rock Island, IL:] Hours for the Rock Island Library drop-in tech labs will change to mornings in November.

Rock Island Library offers free, one-on-one drop-in technology help from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on three Fridays per month. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, November labs will be offered:

 ·         Friday, Nov. 3 at the Rock Island Downtown Library Reference Desk, 401 19th Street;

·         Friday, Nov. 10 at the 30/31 Library, 3059 30th Street; and

·         Friday, Nov. 17 at the Southwest Library, 9010 Ridgewood Road.

 The open technology labs are a free way to ask questions about using personal devices, online library services, downloading apps, setting up or using email, Internet questions, and more. Help is available on a first-come, first served basis. No appointment is necessary, and the service is open to any member of the public.

Help Keep the Reader Alive and Free Since '93!

"We're the River Cities' Reader, and we've kept the Quad Cities' only independently owned newspaper alive and free since 1993.

So please help the Reader keep going with your one-time, monthly, or annual support. With your financial support the Reader can continue providing uncensored, non-scripted, and independent journalism alongside the Quad Cities' area's most comprehensive cultural coverage." - Todd McGreevy, Publisher
