All games are broadcast on KBOB 1170 AM and streamed via the River Bandits website at www.riverbandits.com. Broadcasts are also available via the TuneIn app. Additionally, all home games stream live with video on MiLB.tv. Jason Kempf and Logan Ratick (each in their first seasons with the River Bandits) will handle the broadcasts for all 140 regular season games. Pregame  programming will begin 20 minutes prior to the scheduled first pitch time.

**River Bandits on the Field** ▪ Quad Cities lost the season opener 2-0 to Cedar Rapids on Thursday night at Modern Woodmen Park. o Jake Meyers reached base all three times he came to the plate. o Jonathan Arauz went 2-4. He recorded the River Bandits’ first hit of 2018. o Michael Papierski’s leadoff double in the bottom of the seventh inning was the River Bandits’ first extra-base hit of the season o Cesar Rosado pitched 3.2 innings of scoreless relief ▪ Friday’s (April 6) game against Cedar Rapids is postponed due to weather and will be made up as part of doubleheader at Modern Woodmen Park on Saturday, April 28. ▪ 12 players return from last year’s team, headlined by outfielder J.J. Matijevic and pitcher Patrick Sandoval. ▪ First baseman Jake Adams led the nation in home runs (29) during his 2017 college season at the University of Iowa. The Astros selected him in the sixth round of last year’s MLB Draft.
