BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 24, 2024) — The Quad Cities Chamber asked the candidates seeking office for the QC region in the Illinois and Iowa House of Representatives as well as Rock Island and Scott County Board of Supervisors business-related questions. “Voting for your elected officials is the most important and impactful way business leaders can make their voices heard. We encourage everyone to get out and vote for the candidate you believe represents your values,” said Ryan Sempf, Executive Director, Government Affairs for the Quad Cities Chamber. “The Quad Cities Chamber will not be endorsing any candidates this November and look forward to working whomever holds office from city hall to the White House.”

Questions for candidates included:

  • What does a business-friendly tax environment look like for you?
  • What is your approach to regulation?
  • How can you support workforce attraction and retention?
  • How will you support current and future economic development in the Quad Cities region?
