(Quad Cities) The Quad Cities Chamber will host a new series beginning in October to build marketing capacity for small businesses in the region. The 4-program series will feature local small business owners who will share best practices on the success they have found through various marketing initiatives and platforms.

The Small Business Marketing Series will kick off on Wednesday, October 4 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Boys & Girls Club, 1122 5th Ave., Moline with the topic Storytelling to Build Your Brand, featuring Stephanie Soebbing, Owner, Quilt Addicts Anonymous and Angie Kendall, Director of Development for the Child Abuse Council.

Increasing Sales through Creative Packaging & Branded Event, featuring Mary Talbert, owner, Crafted QC and Stephanie Nagle, Director of Marketing & Public Relations, iWireless Center on Wednesday, October 11 from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Kahl Educational Center, 326 W. 3rd St., Davenport, Rm. 1006 (10th Fl.)

Using Social Media to Drive Holiday Sales, featuring Amy Trimble, Watermark Corners and Tiphanie Cannon, owner, Oh So Sweet, facilitated by Kirby Winn, Director of Marketing, Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center on Wednesday, October 18 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Boys & Girls Club, 1122 5th Ave., Moline.

Help I Need Some Sizzle: Out of the Box Marketing Ideas to Generate Top of Mind Awareness,

featuring Cathy Edwards, owner, Edwards Creative Services and Steve Ducey, chief experience officer, Vibrant Credit Union on Wednesday, November 1 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Edwards Creative Services, 435 1st St. E., Milan.
