MOLINE, ILLINOIS (July 8, 2024) — Nobody delivers joy in a musical package like Wendy and DB, an award-winning, multi-cultural singer/songwriting team from Chicago. They will perform as part of the Music on the Lawn series at Deere-Wiman House, 817 11 Avenue, Moline, on July 17. Daytime concerts are at 9:30AM and 1PM. The evening kicks off at 5PM with outdoor family activities, followed by the concert at 6:30PM.

All concerts are offered free of charge, but for daytime concerts, registration is required by contacting gsmall@butterworthcenter.com.

No pre-registration is required for the evening concert. Concertgoers may simply bring chairs, a blanket, and even a box supper (optional), and be prepared for an energetic, outdoor musical experience. In case of inclement weather, all concerts will move into the adjacent Deere-Wiman Carriage House.

With guitar and ukelele, along with cajon and percussion instruments, Wendy and DB share original songs about science, nature, animals, and fun topics that draw audiences in with lyrics and harmonies that promote inclusion, diversity, love, kindness, and family values. Wendy Morgan has been creating and performing kid-friendly music for over twenty years. Darryl Boggs has performed professionally for over thirty years in private- and public-school systems where he teaches band, choir, and classroom music. Together, they released the popular CD Pockets Seasons Rhymes and Reasons.
