DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 10, 2019) — Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research is looking for people between the ages of 21 and 65 with low-back pain to take part in a clinical study.

“We’re excited about this research,” said lead research clinician and professor Robert Vining DC/DHSc. "This study can potentially shine more light on how chiropractic care influences some types of back pain."

The study uses ultrasound technology to measure tissue movement in the back. Eligible participants will receive chiropractic care for eight weeks at the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research located at 741 Brady St in Davenport, Iowa. Care is provided at no cost to participants. Anyone interested in participating should call Palmer’s research clinic at 563-884-5153 for a telephone pre-screen or visit palmer.edu/research/low-back-pain-study to learn more.
