DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 8, 2023) — On Saturday, August 12, 2023, 7PM, the Metropolitan Community Church of the Quad Cities (MCC QC) will host out gay Branson singer, Andy Anderson in a free music concert at the Church. A free-will offering for Andy will be received.

Originally from the Big Apple, Andy has a vocal performance degree from the University of Arkansas. He is currently a performer in Branson, Missouri. “Music has always been my passion. It has the ability to totally transform and bring hpe to anyone who hears me. My mother says I was singing in the womb! There was never a time in my life that I wasn’t singing.”

Andy has experienced abuse from traditional religion but that has never shaken his faith, but rather formed it. A favorite expression is “Healing does’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life.” He enjoys performing all types of music but two of his favorites are Josh Groban and Billie Elish. “I have a gift and I look forward to sharing with the people in the Quad Cities.”

Andy will also sing as part of the message, “One God — No Shame” during the 11AM Sunday morning-worship service on Sunday, August 13, at MCC QC.
