DES MOINES, IOWA (April 30, 2019) — With only 99 days until the Iowa State Fair, there's a lot to be excited for, including Free Entertainment acts. From classic rock, comedy, and 90's hits, from hip-hop, to Christian, jazz, blues, pop, and country, "Nothing Compares" to the FREE Entertainment line up at the 2019 Iowa State Fair. More than a half-million dollars' worth of free entertainment can be found August 8-18, 2019.

All free entertainment is available with admission. Advanced admission tickets are available for $8 now through August 7. Purchase tickets online at iowastatefair.org or beginning July 1, tickets will be available at participating Iowa Hy-Vee, Hy-Vee Drug, Fareway, Price Chopper and Cash Saver locations. The Iowa State Fair Ticket Office opens Monday, July 8 for walk-up orders.
