WHITEWATER, WISCONSIN (April 1, 2022) — Mitch Nikulski from Bettendorf, Iowa, who is studying Finance at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, was elected student government Senator.

"Whitewater Student Government leaders play a key role in the shared governance of UW-Whitewater," said Jan Bilgen, WSG adviser. "They come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, and are an integral piece of student needs being addressed and overall student success."

The newly-elected senators were sworn into office on January 24, 2022, during the first Whitewater Student Government meeting of the semester, and will serve for calendar year 2022.

The newly-elected president and vice-president will be sworn in April 30, 2022, and will serve through July 1, 2023.
