John Deere will host their campaign kickoff for United Way.

The media is invited to attend the first ever Play United event. The day of fun will include food trucks, live music, a dunk tank with some executives, a golf chipping contest in the front lake, plus more games.

Marc Howze, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, Deere & Company, and Deere & Company’s Executive Sponsor of the United Way campaign

Mara Downing, Director of Global Brand Management and Corporate Citizenship, Deere & Company, and United Way Campaign Co-Chair

Mike Parejko, CEO of the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, and United Way Campaign Chair

Why:   

Live United Week is September 17-21. Live United Week is devoted to showing what it means to Live United – how we can all rally together to change lives in the Quad Cities.

Nearly 1,500 people will volunteer throughout the Quad Cities at 72 projects for Day of Caring on September 20. A press release with full details will be sent.
