WEST LIBERTY, IOWA (February 6, 2023) — Liberty Communications Corp., one of Eastern Iowa’s fastest-growing broadband providers, announces partnership with Midwest Data Center, a Missouri-based IT services and consulting company.

This partnership complements Liberty Communications’ existing business services, enabling Liberty to provide a 360-degree internet, voice, and IT solution to small and mid-sized businesses throughout their Eastern and Southeastern service areas.

“It’s an exciting partnership that couldn’t have come at a better time,” says Justin Stinson, CEO of Liberty Communications. “In today’s interconnected world, a strong IT solution is just as critical as a fast, reliable internet connection — but not all organizations have the resources to do this in-house. Together with Midwest Data, we can fill that gap and lend support from all angles of their business. It’s a service we’ve been wanting to provide for years, and one that can scale as we grow.”

In addition to fiber internet, data transport, managed WiFi, hosted voice, and analog and digital phone line services offered by Liberty, businesses can now choose to receive IT services facilitated through Midwest Data Center, such as dark-web monitoring, workstation management, cloud backup and recovery, and more.

Liberty Communications is a private family-owned company which has been in the Melick family since 1907. Primarily an ILEC (Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier) organization throughout its time, Liberty has built a world-class fiber-optics network that rivals even the larger industry players. Today, Liberty offers a range of internet, phone, television, and managed WiFi services to its residential and business customers.

Established in 2003, Midwest Data Center is a well-known IT company that provides consulting and a range of Managed IT services to businesses across the country. Businesses who choose to opt-in to Liberty’s new IT services will work directly with Midwest Data’s team of nearly 60 IT experts — who come well-regarded for their skill and commitment to high-quality customer service.

Liberty Communications is a family-owned independent telephone company serving the communities of West Branch, West Liberty and their surrounding areas with phone, Internet and Digital TV service since 1907.

Midwest Data Center, based in Rock Port, Missouri, was established in 2003 to deliver IT services and consulting to businesses throughout the US.
