DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 4, 2021) — Gilda’s Club is hosting a FREE workshop titled “Laughter Yoga” on Fridays, February 12 and 26, 10–10:30AM at via Zoom.
Laughter Yoga enhances people’s quality of life. It helps reduce depression and stress, promotes relaxation, improves sleep, strengthens relationships. and produces a general sense of well-being. Laughter also increases circulation and provides an excellent cardio and midbody workout. This activity will be facilitated by Meredith Mercer, Program Director at SeniorStar.
During this experiential learning class, you will:
- Discover the physiological and psychological benefits of laughter;
- Practice mindfulness and deep breathing techniques; and
- Learn new ways to add more laughter to your life.
