MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 3, 2024) — Junior Achievement of the Heartland will host a ribbon-cutting to celebrate their new JA Inspiration Center on Tuesday, October 15, 12:05PM. The new facility is located at 6600 44th Avenue, Suite 3, Moline, Illinois. The actual ribbon-cutting will take place at 12:05PM. Students from Franklin and Grant Elementary Schools in Muscatine, Iowa, will be at JA BizTown on this day. There is a ribbon-cutting already built into the students’ schedule, so we will piggy-back on that. We invite you to arrive at the JA Inspiration Center at 11:45AM so we are ready to go by Noon to keep the kids on their schedule as best as possible!

The newly-named JA BizTown will continue to serve as an essential component of the JA Inspiration Center. It will provide students with an immersive experience in running a simulated economy. “This is a significant moment for Junior Achievement as we continue to expand our impact, empowering students with the skills they need to succeed in life and work,” said Dougal Nelson, president and CEO for JA of the Heartland.
