QUAD CITIES (February 6, 2019) — Each year, the Jaycees of the Quad Cities honors local community members who are making a positive impact in our area. This year, the annual Community Awards Banquet will be held at the Jaycees Hall at 2940 Brady St in Davenport beginning at 5:30PM. The banquet will feature a cocktail hour at 5:30PM with musical entertainment, with dinner and awards set to start at 6:30PM.
The Jaycees of the Quad Cities' Community Awards Banquet showcases individual excellence in leadership as demonstrated by outstanding initiative, impact of work, and inspiration of others. All recipients must be under the age of 40 at the time of the banquet (March 22, 2019) in order to be eligible.
Awards will include the following:
- Young Community Leader Award
- Young Religious Leader Award
- Young Educator Award
- Young City Servant Award
- 2018 Jaycees Member of the Year
- 2018 Jaycees Rookie of the Year
Anyone can nominate an individual for these awards by filling out a nomination form (found on the Jaycees website at: https://www.jayceesqc.org/community-award-banquet) by March 1, 2019 and sending it to info@jayceesqc.org.
Each award recipient will have their name displayed on a plaque inside the Jaycee Hall, and will receive $150 cash honorarium to help them further the good work they do for our community.
