The Jaycees of the Quad Cities is an organization of young civic-minded individuals dedicated to making the community a better place and helping to develop future leaders. As one of the oldest chapters in Iowa, they continue to enjoy a surge in membership in recent years, organizing and managing such community fundraising events as the Bridal Expo and the Brew HaHa Festival. Over the past 32 years, the Jaycees of the Quad Cities have returned over $1 Million to the community through contributions to various charities and the annual Jaycee Santa program. The Jaycees provided the community with the Davenport Jaycees Commons, a park in downtown Davenport, the Davenport Jaycees Field baseball diamond, a library at Camp Abe Lincoln, and most recently the Jaycees of the Quad Cities Sensory Trail at the Handicapped Development Center Residential Facility.
