DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 4, 2019) — You may have noticed the signage already up  in downtown Davenport for the upcoming snow emergency but I thought I would forward to you again the Snow Emergency notice from Public Works.

Temporary No Parking will go into effect on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Streets in the Downtown between Gaines and E River Drive beginning at 5PM Monday, February 4, through 7AM, Tuesday, February 5, for a Snow Emergency Declaration. No other areas in the city are affected by this Snow Emergency.

The Snow Emergency has been declared to ensure vehicles are moved off of these streets to allow plows to haul snow away from the area.

Ticketing and towing of cars parked on these roads will begin promptly at 10PM Monday, February 4.

Residents and visitors to the area may park for free in any one of the City’s parking ramps between 5PM Monday, February 4, and 7AM Tuesday, February 5.

Text, phone and e-mail notification will be sent to those subscribed to Snow Emergency alerts at 8:30AM Monday, February 4.
