AMES, IOWA (May 1, 2020) — Olivia Osborn, an Iowa State University child, adult, and family-services major from Eldridge, Iowa (52748), was selected as a spring 2020 Louise Rosenfeld Undergraduate Research intern in the College of Human Sciences. Osborn is working with Megan Gilligan, associate professor in human development and family studies, to study the impact of negotiating care for an older parent with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia on overall health and relationship quality of adult siblings.
The Louise Rosenfeld Undergraduate Research Internship Program is designed to equip Iowa State University College of Human Sciences undergraduate students with first-hand research experience while they contemplate studying toward an advanced degree. The program offers interns excellent opportunities to work with faculty and learn how to conduct research in their academic fields.
