SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS (August 9, 2024) — The Illinois Chamber of Commerce congratulates Senator Jil Tracy for receiving their Bridge Builder AwardThe Bridge Builder is their newest award which recognizes bipartisanship and collaboration in the General Assembly.

Senator Jil Tracy has served in the Illinois Senate since 2016 and was a member of the House of Representatives from 2006-2014. During the 103rd General Assembly, Se Tracy served as Spokesperson for the Judiciary Committee and was a member of the Labor, Executive, Higher Education, Appropriations (Education), and Veterans Affairs committees. She also serves on the Legislative Ethics Commission. In her early career, Sen Tracy worked in private law and served as Mount Sterling City Attorney. Later, she served as an Assistant Illinois Attorney General. Sen Tracy resides in Quincy, Illinois, where she currently serves on numerous community boards.
