DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 1, 2019) — Heart of America Group is thrilled to announce that the Holiday Inn and Suites and The J Bar in Davenport has earned the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) Torchbearer Award and the IHG Rewards Club Excellence Award. The Torchbearer Award is the most elite award presented by IHG and has the most intense criteria to qualify. Only 20 Holiday Inn hotels earned this designation out of nearly 900 hotels (Top 2%) in the Americas. The hotel must be at an elite level in overall guest satisfaction which is a score of 90 or higher.
The IHG Reward Club Excellence Award is given to the top-performing hotel in their brand and is only given to hotels that have achieved the highest level of excellence in guest loyalty and recognition. The Holiday Inn & Suites Davenport is the only “Holiday Inn” in the IHG system to receive this prestigious recognition.
