DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 28, 2019) — City of Davenport will observe Independence Day as a holiday on Thursday, July 4, 2019.

City of Davenport offices and the Public Works Center will be closed.

Police Department front desk and records office will be closed.

Parks and Recreation administrative offices and River’s Edge facility will be closed.

Adler Theatre box office will be closed.

Library Main, Fairmount and Eastern branches will be closed. Vander Veer Conservatory will be closed.

CitiBus service will not be provided.

Compost Facility will be closed. No solid waste (garbage, recycle, yard waste, and bulk waste) collection on Thursday, July 4. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday pickups will occur on their regularly-scheduled days. Thursday and Friday pickups will be one day late. Friday collection will take place on Saturday. Please refer to the solid waste collection calendar for the holiday schedule and more information.

NOTE: The Committee of the Whole meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 2, at 5:30PM. There will not be a Management Update/Mayor & City Council Discussion meeting on Tuesday, July 2nd.
