Located within each of our stores, Goodwill’s Halloween Headquarters blends new and donated items to be your ultimate destination for all things Halloween. Offerings include both children and adult costumes, home and yard decorations, and a multitude of accessories that will turn your Halloween festivities into an unforgettable experience. Let our team of costume experts find the perfect outfit to transform you into the character of your dreams (or nightmares). Get creative with our DIY crafting supplies to personalize your decorations and costumes for a unique touch.

“Our mix of new and donated goods allow the public to create perfectly unique, head-to-toe looks for spooky season,” said Brent Watkins, director of marketing. “Every costume purchased at Goodwill helps support our mission as a local nonprofit. Not only does your purchase fund training and job placement programs, but it also embodies our efforts to promote sustainability by giving new life to items that might otherwise wind up in local landfills.”

Here's what our costume experts see trending for the 2024 Halloween season:

1. Pop Culture References: Expect to dish out candy to Beetlejuice, Deadpool, Wolverine, various political figures, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, Caitlin Clark, and personalities from the summer games in Paris. Minions and Inside Out characters will be popular for the younger set. Also be on the lookout for creative cross-over costumes — think of a Lisa Frank-enstein mash-up!

2. Classic Monsters: Embrace the timeless appeal of vampires, witches, mummies and more.

3. Superheroes and Villains: Dress up as your favorite superheroes or infamous villains from the latest blockbuster movies and comic books.

4. Nostalgic Icons: Pay homage to beloved characters from '80s and '90s. Take inspiration from TV shows and movies, such as Grease, The Golden Girls, or Happy Days.

5. Fantasy Creatures: Unleash your inner mythical beast with costumes like unicorns and fairies.6. Decades of Options: Ever think that you should have been born in a different decade? Halloween is your opportunity to liberate your inner flapper, cyberpunk or hippie.

Halloween Headquarters is dedicated to making your Halloween celebrations a spooktacular success. Visit www.halloweenatgoodwill.com for inspiration, costume checklists and DIY how-to videos.
