
DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 22, 2020) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities will welcome ABC’s Amy Robach to the Quad Cities for their 11th annual Intimate Conversations fundraiser on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Rhythm City Casino Resort in Davenport, Iowa.
Amy Robach is the co-anchor of ABC’s “20/20” and reports regularly for “Good Morning America”. Since joining ABC News, Robach has traveled nationally and internationally to cover major news events and, additionally, she has interviewed countless newsmakers and celebrities.
In 2015, Robach wrote a New York Times bestseller titled Better: How I Let Go of Control, Held On To Hope, and Found Joy in My Darkest Hour, about her unexpected journey with breast cancer after being diagnosed following an on-air mammogram on “Good Morning America” in 2013.
The Luncheon portion of the event will begin at Noon on Friday, April 3, at Rhythm City Casino Resort in Davenport. Tickets are $55 and include lunch and dessert while hearing Amy share her inspiring stories.
Immediately following the luncheon, a VIP Meet-and-Greet will take place for a limited number of guests from 1:30–2:30PM. Meet-and-Greet tickets are $100 and include a luncheon ticket and complimentary drink as well as the chance to meet Amy and have your photo taken by a professional photographer.
Tickets for this special event are on sale now with all proceeds from the event to benefit Gilda’s Club Quad Cities and their mission of providing free support, education, and hope to anyone impacted by any type of cancer in our community.
