Iowa Ideas will offer a series of events (see full schedule below), printed magazines (first magazine is now available at http://the-gazette.mybigcommerce.com/iowa-ideas-magazine/) digital updates and a multi-day September conference surrounding issues that are shaping the future of Iowa.

Many of Iowa's key industries are being transformed, and the pace of change is only accelerating. Meanwhile, discussion about the media's role in how major issues are reviewed, interpreted and communicated is at a peak.

"Iowa Ideas is designed to get past partisan politics," said Zack Kucharski, Executive Editor of The Gazette. "It won't assume that everything we do today is obsolete or broken, because it's not. It will allow us to examine issues in unique depth- how we got to the current state, pursued to address some of the challenges, and how to scale them to respond to need."

Key topics include K-12 and higher education, agriculture, energy & environment, workforce & regionalism, health care and transportation. Additionally, each topic will be explored through the lenses of technology, culture, diversity and inclusion.

Tickets for symposiums and newsletter signups are now available at www.iowaideas.com, as well as additional ways to get involved with the project.
