DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 8, 2024) — Friendship Manor invites you to help us honor our residents celebrating 100-plus years of life this year at our Centennial Celebration, Thursday, August 15. Thirteen of our friends have reached, or exceeded, this incredible milestone in 2024, making five percent of our resident population centenarians!
The Centennial Celebration kicks off at 11AM, when our centenarians will share a special lunch with Friendship Manor President and CEO Ted Pappas in the bistro, located on the Friendship Manor campus at 1209 21st Ave, Rock Island. A friends and family reception is scheduled for 2PM in the activity center.
Friendship Manor residents Emma F and Margie N are 100 this year; Dean A, Thelma E, Barb M, and Mauritia T are 101 this year; Julia K, Mercedes M, and Paul S are 102; Henry D, Mildred L, and June P are 103; and Aileen D is 105!
