ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 20, 2025) — Love, in all its intricate forms, weaves a rich tapestry of human experience, each thread telling a unique story. This weekend, we invite you to witness the enchanting performance of Courtney Lyon's Carmen. Journey with Carmen and Don Jose through the sun-kissed streets of Seville, where their fervent passion ignites against a backdrop of vibrant culture, only to be met with the heart-wrenching tragedy that follows.

This captivating narrative not only highlights the beauty of love but also its complexities, promising an emotional experience that resonates deeply within us all.

Along with Carmen, Love Stories also features premiere pieces by Domingo Rubio and Donald J Laney.

Prepare to be captivated by "Confrontation," where Domingo Rubio draws inspiration from the fiery tango, showcasing the intense rivalry and camaraderie that emerge within the dance halls, all set to the rhythm of compelling music.

Donald J Laney's "Lust, Loss, Love" takes you on an emotional journey through the complexities of human relationships, beautifully interpreting the nuances of love and loss against a backdrop of timeless jazz standards.
