PORT BYRON, ILLINOIS (October 1, 2024) — Douglas Machine and Engineering LLC will host a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, October 9, 11AM. The business is located at 1510 N High St, Suite 1, in Port Byron, Illinois (North of Port Byron on North High St, next to their Paint and Powder Coating facility).
Douglas Machining is a design to build fabrication and machine shop. We develop welding fixtures and assembly fixtures that utilize manual and robotic functions. Douglas Machine can concept, design, and build specialty equipment to most applications. We have our own machining centers that can handle up to twenty tons. The other side of our business is production machining utilizing CNC Turning and Milling equipment. We are a full-service shop that can handle the purchasing of specialty materials and outsource specialty processing.
