MOLINE, ILLINOIS (December 15, 2021) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is inviting anyone impacted by cancer to become more Digitally Empowered™ by completing an online class to help participants become more confident using technology. Participants who submit their final certificate to kcraft@gildasclubqc.org by noon on 12/31/2021 will be entered in a drawing to win a $100 Visa gift card!
The Digitally Empowered™ Course from the Patient Empowerment Network helps you become more tech-savvy so you can find information and support to empower you and your loved ones during the cancer journey. An informed patient is an empowered patient, and you make the best decisions about your care when you are armed with credible information. Reliable information about the latest cancer treatments helps you work with your care team to receive the most personalized care available — and the best-possible outcome for you.
The Digitally Empowered™ Course is to help you find your way to the information you need because we know that where there is knowledge there are choices — and where there are choices there is hope. You will learn the skills to use the Internet, social media, and mobile applications with confidence to search for health information and connect with other patients and care partners along the way.

Step 1: Select the small green rectangle at the top right that says “LOGIN”.
Step 2: Then select REGISTER and fill out your information!
Step 3. Login to your account and start the ten learning modules in the Digitally Empowered™ Course.
Step 4. After finishing your ten modules, please send the certificate of completion to us at kcraft@gildasclubqc.org by noon on 12/21/2021 to be entered for you chance to win the $100 Visa Gift Card.
