Today, the DCCC announced a Facebook ad campaign targeting vulnerable Republican Congressman Rod Blum for failing to stop this Republican Tax Scam. Targeted voters in IA-01 are receiving unique messages about how the bill hurts students and graduates with loan debt given the district’s significant youth electorate.
“The Republican Tax Scam is nothing more than huge tax cuts for the rich and big corporations, paid for by tax increases on millions of middle-class families and students,” said DCCC Spokeswoman Rachel Irwin. “This digital ad campaign will inform Iowans about the morally bankrupt Republican Tax that hits students already weighed down by student loan debt.”
