PELLA, IOWA (April 9, 2025) — A pillar of a Central College education is community service and civic engagement. In Spring 2025, 44 Central students are participating in a service-learning opportunity to build civic engagement.

Anna Dennis of Davenport (52802) is serving Pella Community High School- Special Education classroom in Pella, Iowa. Dennis is an English major in the Class of 2027.

Emmy Holthe of Muscatine (52761) is serving Central College adaptive technology assistant for professor in Pella, Iowa. Holthe is an English major in the Class of 2026.

Rylie Preston of Geneseo (61254) is serving Pella Community Food Shelf in Pella, Iowa. Preston is an Elementary Education major in the Class of 2027.

Central College of Pella, Iowa, is a private college known for its active student body, academic rigor, and athletics success. Our students learn collaboratively with supportive educators who share a commitment to intellectual engagement, personal growth, career readiness, and civic involvement.
