ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 18, 2024) — Veto session is in full swing, and lame duck is right around the corner.

Register for the Clean Slate Full Coalition Meeting on November 20, 11AM. You’re invited to join us for our upcoming Clean Slate Coalition monthly meeting, where we’ll discuss key strategies and actions for the Veto Session and upcoming Lame Duck session. We’ll be diving into critical issues, organizing our approach, and exploring ways to make meaningful impacts. Whether you’re a longtime advocate or new to the coalition, we welcome your insights and energy — no prior experience with the coalition is necessary to participate.

This is a great opportunity for first-time supporters to get involved, learn more about our work, and join us in building a state where conviction histories are not held against us for the rest of OUR lives. We look forward to seeing you there. Please RSVP to confirm your attendance and receive additional details.

Journey to Freedom Survey

Participants with lived experience of arrests or convictions needed.

This survey aims to gather the voices and experiences of individuals with arrest or conviction records throughout the state of Illinois. These views are critical to informing the debate on public safety and defining the best path forward to promote safety and justice. Understanding the post-incarceration impacts will help decision-makers understand these impacts.
